Sloterpark
The Sloterpark is a spacious park that is located around the Sloterplas lake. It is widely used for hiking and sports, but there are also festivals such as the Loveland Festival and the Sloterplas Festival. The Sloterpark is located near the New West Inn. Shopping Centre Osdorp
Shopping Centre Osdorp is a very diverse shopping centre. In addition to the major store chains there are also many small shops located. At the Osdorpplein square is the Shoperade, an indoor shopping centre and there is a market every Tuesday. Shopping Centre Osdorp is within walking distance of the New West Inn.
Garden Centre Osdorp
Garden Centre Osdorp is a large garden centre with a wide assortment. In the garden centre you will find various indoor and outdoor plants, but also tools and Christmas items. Garden Centre Osdorp is located near the New West Inn and is open seven days a week.
The Sloten Windmill

De Meervaart is a theatre at the Osdorpplein square. All year lot’s of performances take place here in different genres such as cabaret, dance, theatre and music. Theatre De Meervaart is within walking distance of the New West Inn.
Cemetery Westgaarde
Westgaarde is a is a crematorium and a cemetery. It is one of the largest cemeteries of the Netherlands and it is very green. Westgaarde consists of several components, including an ’Ajax-field’ where is a part of the grass from the old Ajax-stadium De Meer: especially for fans of soccer club Ajax. Funeral park Westgaarde is located close to the New West Inn.
